Reiki Dublin. All about the white aura

Updated: Feb 11, 2023

I am a reiki master teacher based in Blackrock, south Dublin. I teach all levels of Usui reiki. Reiki level, 1, 2 & 3, the reiki Master Teacher, and the fulfillment of all the reiki stages.

Usui reiki was discovered by master Mikao Usui in Japan in circa 1910. Reiki is a form of energy healing that has the aim to bring balance across the body, stimulating the flow of energy around the main energy points or chakras

Chakras come from the Sanskrit word for “wheel” and refer to the spinning forces of energy in a person. Aura means "breeze" from the Greek that describes the aura as our spirit, life-force. Aura was first named the Titan goddess of the breeze or cool air.

In a reiki session, the aura color can often be felt or perceived in a number of ways, giving information about a person energetically.

The pure white aura is rare. It suggests a transcendent personality. Someone deeply in touch with who they are spiritually.

Not from purely knowledge or knowing things they are interested in, or have read up about. But from what they know intuitively. Or from what they have experienced to be true.

A white aura is destined from birth, and although everyone's aura can be interfered with or compromised by life challenges, the white aura is a good predictor of energetic protection. The person has come into the world with a highly developed spiritual compass. Having said that, all pure aura colors are important & precious in different ways. They are all a necessary part of the whole.

The white aura suggests a highly connected & open crown chakra - where all the chakra colours merge into white light. It can also mean white light that is coming to the person through the open crown. There is an interplay, inter-connection, between our energy and the energy that is surrounding us.

A white aura is a strong protective field & will attract more of the same.

Whereas blue, violet & purple are associated with the third-eye, and also the crown & psychic abilities, gifts all known as the clares - the white aura is often associated with a pure heart chakra.

This is especially important as the heart is the center of the chakra system. When the heart is open, energy flows up through the heart and into the third eye & crown.

The white aura is not only about "seeing" into the world of spirit, but also being able to see with heart. In that sense, the white aura is also a very human centered, based on deep understanding of what it is to be human, and suffer in a human way. Hence the connection also to Christ/ Christ consciousness.

People with a rare white aura may be found in helping & caring professions. Such as nursing, teaching, caring for children, therapy. The person with the white aura may feel very spiritual but when interacting with others be also very down-to earth, not seeing themselves as above anyone, but rather connecting through the human condition, compassion & vulnerability they share with everyone. There can be an innocence as well as wisdom with the white aura.

Having a pure white aura means a person, though sensitive, is naturally protected from absorbing negative energy or psychic attack. So they will stay energized and able to function despite stressful circumstances.

An off-white or grey aura can suggest that the person ought to have a white aura, but life circumstances, trauma, & other negative experiences have interfered with this aura color. Whereas a fully white aura is protective, everyone can encounter experiences that impact the aura over time or in a sudden way.

Having grey or dark colored "debris" in the aura can be thought forms or mental fatigue. Over thinking & anxiety that leaves marks of crystallized energy. If these are in the outer aura they can often be removed. For example reiki energy or other forms of healing energy can help clear the aura. Or changes of circumstances that refresh the aura naturally, & where negative or crystallized energy dissolves away.

In a reiki session Dublin, and with other forms of energy healing, the white aura can be felt or seen in the third-eye of the practitioner.

Often symbols will be seen in the chakras when giving a reiki treatment, which can also emphasize the white aura color.

Seeing white animals, such as a dove, white hart, white bear, white tigers are all symbols of white light energy suggesting new peace. New hope. The dove was the first symbol of land in the Flood, suggesting new hope.
