Usui reiki has three levels of certification. Reiki level 1, reiki level 2 & the culmination of the level studies, the level 3 or Reiki Master Teacher course.

All the reiki I teach is traditional Usui reiki from the lineage of Master Mikao Usui. Reiki is a healing modality that was discovered by Mikao Usui in Japan.
Reiki Master Dublin. The certification & culmination of Usui reiki studies (traditional Usui Reiki)
As with my Usui lineage, the Reiki Master is also the Teacher qualification combined. This means that as well as learning the Master symbol of Usui reiki, which completes all the Usui symbols, there is also an explanation on how to teach & organize the reiki classes & stages & attune others.
All the reiki classes Dublin are taught by me in the same way that I was taught them. The reiki classes include learning the symbols & experiencing a number of "attunements" for each level.
Students practice using the symbols for self healing & also to give reiki healing to others. The most important component to any reiki stage is receiving the attunements that allow a person to "hold" reiki healing energy. After the attunements for Reiki Master there are guided meditations that help increase awareness & intuition.
For the Reiki Master Teacher class, there are 6 attunements in total - which is a LOT of energy to process through the body. As ever, attunements open up the 7 main chakras of the body, producing harmony & increasing energy flow.
Like acupuncture without the needles, a person may feel very energized and full of vitality. Other times, they may feel very drowsy, and sleep for hours after a reiki attunement. This is the body adapting to new energetic shifts.
There is no set way a person may feel since different chakras are opened depending on what the person needs most energetically.
If a person primarily needs grounding, the sacral or roots may be most affected by an attunement. If a person most needs to communicate or express themselves, there may be a strong throat chakra opening. If its increased perception & psychic abilities, the third-eye may expand most of all. If its confidence & strength, the solar plexus chakra may be most affected by the attunement process.
It all depends on the person.
The Reiki Master Teacher workshop is a unique journey, different for everyone. Reiki adjusts itself perfectly for the needs of the person. Reiki has innate "wisdom". There can never be too much or too little reiki energy given - it adjusts itself perfectly.
The Reiki Master symbol, completes all the reiki symbols. The person uses all the symbols from all the levels to give reiki healing treatments the maximum benefit.
There is a chance in the course to go over aspects of the level 1 & 2 training, including distance or absentee healing as well. More on my level 2 reiki classes HERE
The Reiki Master Teacher covers how to give an attunement practically as well. There are a set of sequences to learn and students can practice attuning each other!
After the completion of the Reiki Master (about 8 hours of class time), there is a certificate given. Certificates are also given at the end of the level 1 & 2 phase.
The person also receives a copy of the Usui lineage.
They can add their name to all the reiki masters who have completed the lineage before them. When they attune anyone henceforth to Reiki Master, their names are also added to the lineage. The Master Reiki attunements form the "tree" of lineage that can be traced back to Master Usui who discovered reiki healing in around 1910 in Japan.
Reiki Master classes are flexible. They can be during the weekday, or early evening after work. They are also sometimes held at the weekend. It is best taught over sessions of 2 hours duration. This is to allow the energy between sessions to settle, rather then giving a lot of intense energy all at once!
Workshops can be very intimate - I have often done one-on-one reiki Master courses. Also, the Master workshops can be small groups.
