Usui reiki, Dublin level 2 classes, deal with the distance aspect of reiki.
This means the reiki practitioner is able to send or give reiki to a person not physically present. That person may be in another room, another building. Another city, country, or continent.
How is that even possible?
It is understood that energetically, there is no separation. We can still tune into another person's energy or aura when they are not physically with us.
In physics, there is the concept of "spooky action at a distance", the fact that in quantum physics particles can affect each other & are twinned across vast, cosmic distances.
On an energetic level, we are connected by energy, such that our consciousness is expansive & inclusive. If we think of another person & hold the image of them in our minds eye (or just a concept of them via a name) we can connect energetically through Usui distance reiki
In level 2 Usui reiki, we learn the distance symbol which is an original symbol that Master Mikao Usui received when he took place in a vigil atop a mountain in Japan, in circa 1910.
He received the wisdom of Usui reiki energy through his third-eye chakra by way of colors & symbols
When we give distance reiki, we do the same as if we were giving reiki healing energy to someone in person.
We do the prayer of invocation and draw out the symbols into the palm of our hand, connecting to all the symbols individually. All the symbols from level 1, as well as the symbol of distance reiki (level 2 reiki), and the master symbol if that person has completed level 3 Master Teacher level.
Using a proxy such as a teddy we give the reiki as if we were giving to a person who is fully present. As well as using a proxy such as a teddy (odd at first, but it works amazingly well), we can also give the energy simply visualizing the person.
However, I find it much easier to use a proxy such as a soft toy as the energy can be more easily perceived unique to each chakra!
The messages I receive from distance, level 2 reiki are profound. Sometimes even more detailed then an in-person session.
The distance reiki is done 3 times, over 3 consecutive days, for 15 minutes each time. We don't do more than this usually as the purpose is to release the outcome to God for complete healing if only for the highest good.
A candle is lit and allowed to burn down completely between the sessions - a tealight is perfect for this.
Also, intentions for the healing can be written down on paper. What we feel, or have been told, is a problem for the person. The healing we hope to achieve for the person. Finally, releasing the outcome to the higher power, or God, for complete healing "if and only if it is for the highest good".
It is wonderful to track the progression of the distance healing across the 3 consecutive sessions. The first session often reveals the problem fully. The second reveals some shifts that have occurred, new energies being introduced. Usually, the final session leads to new energies being fully integrated into the chakras.
A person receiving distance reiki can receive the reiki healing energy by lying down in a quiet place and tuning in consciously with the session. Or, they can receive the reiki unconsciously whilst they are engaged in other activities.
There are ethics involved in distance reiki which I can cover in another blog post.
I am a Reiki Master, teaching reiki classes & giving reiki sessions in Blackrock Dublin. I teach level 1, 2 & 3 reiki workshops. These are small intimate Dublin reiki classes. Days & times are flexible.
Reiki courses can run during the week, Monday-Friday. Or sometimes the weekend. Morning or evening reiki classes. Depending on whether people need to get there from work! There is more about my reiki classes Dublin HERE
